Engineering

Environmental Impact Assessment Division

• epecoUSA  is supporting  the serious Egyptian efforts to allow the local Egyptian firms, utilities and organizations to meet the law # 4  of 1994 regarding the environmental impact assessment.    Several contracts are awarded to EPECO/Egypt to evaluate existing operations or active ones.    The target is to highlight the violations and advise customers on how to handle these violations.

 

• epecoUSA  has successfully  completed several jobs covering lead smelting, cast iron mills, engineering products fabrication, construction material manufacturing, food processing and chemicals blending.       Many other jobs are undergoing: steel structure fabrication,  polyethylene foam  and animal feed making.

 

• epecoUSA  allowed  the customers to grant the necessary Environmental Protection Agency approval on their projects.     Meanwhile,   the customers became familiar with their environmental impacts and the most efficient approaches to overcome them.

 Environmental Engineering Division

• epecoUSA  designs and engineers water, wastewater, industrial waste, solid waste treatment plants.    EPECO/Egypt also has wide experience in air pollution control ,flue gas treatment systems and hazardous waste treatment systems.

 

• epecoUSA  prefers to work as process designers and engineers only.  Civil and general works are normally left to general engineering consultants.

 Contracting

• epecoUSA  works as contractor for  water, wastewater, industrial waste, solid waste, hazardous waste , air pollution and flue gases control and treatment systems..

 

• epecoUSA  normally works as subcontractor for medium and large process/electromechanical  works.     For small jobs, EPECO/Egypt contracts for turnkey jobs, including civil, general and electromechanical works.

 Manufacturing

• epecoUSA  is operating a manufacturing plant in Mansourah (110 km north Cairo) since 1992.  In Mansourah plant, consumer & small/medium consumer and capital goods (all related to environmental /health protection) are manufactured .  

The Following  products are manufactured in Mansourah plant :

filtra-b: central backwashable  sediment removal filter.

MarincelST: Superefficient domestic sewage treatment plants for  marines.

ROmarine: reverse osmosis systems for on-ship seawater desalination.

UV indu: ultraviolet water purification systems for industrial applications

UV plus: ultraviolet water purification systems for residential applications

uvRO: residential reverse osmosis water desalination & ultraviolet sterilization.

 epecoUSA  is also operating a manufacturing plant in el Obour industrial estate (20 km north Cairo) since 1998.  In el Obour plant, custom built equipment & projects are executed.  

The Following products are manufactured in el Obour plant :

epRO-b: reverse osmosis systems for  brackish water desalination.

epRO-m: reverse osmosis systems for  municipal/residential and point of use water desalination.

epRO-s: reverse osmosis systems for  seawater desalination.

epST-c: domestic  sewage treatment  plants & re-use packages.

OilSep: oil/water separation systems

ROWPU: mobile water treatment plants for military & battle  field operations.
